Beautiful Danish dream pop...

Sleep Party People have handed the video for 'Gazing At The Moon' to ClashMusic - watch it below.
Initially a project for Brian Batz, Sleep Party People are a fairly unique proposition. A Danish multi-instrumentalist, Batz was able to fuse his classical awareness - think Satie, Cage - with a dream-like sensibility.
Now expanding into a full group, Sleep Party People flip between genre lines. Sure, it's essentially dream pop - a catch all term for anything hypnotic, somnambulist - but the classical flourishes and electronic textures pull them into their own universe.
Releasing an album earlier this year, Sleep Party People have enjoyed steady, slow burning success. Which is perhaps appropriate; the band's material evolves at its own pace, oscillating gently through phases, chapters.
'Gazing At The Moon' is no exception. Taken from 'We Were Drifting On A Sad Song' the track opens with drums which seem to collapse in on themselves, before evolving into something akin to Broadcast's more overtly pop moments.
