Mala has posted a video online containing footage from his recent visit to Cuba.
Officially announced earlier this year, 'Mala In Cuba' is a tantalising proposition. Taking a renowned dubstep producer out of his comfort zone, the project matches UK soundsystem culture to Cuban rhythms.
Set to be released on Brownswood this Autumn, 'Mala In Cuba' is to be preceded by a new 12 inch. Lead cut 'Cuba Electronic' has now received the video treatment, with the official clip landing on the web this morning.
The clip is a deeply evocative work, featuring Mala mingling with young dancers, rappers and musicians. Providing an insight into the sessions which surrounded the Cuban project, you can watch it below.
