Kites have posted the Chaplin inspired video for new single 'This Jumped Up Boy In Livery'.

It's almost a crime to be eloquent these days. Most new groups seem ashamed to use big words, let alone ones that might be mistaken for being archaic.

Kites, though, have no such qualms. Hell, the fast rising London newcomers have even named their upcoming single 'This Jumped Up Boy In Livery' for goodness sake, almost inviting the doubters to make themselves known.

Out on September 24th, this is blossoming, fiercely intelligent pop music. Kites decided to shoot a video for the single, hooking up with Stuart Fisher for a clip which is inspired by silent film great Charlie Chaplin.

Frontman Matthew has the following to say about the track. “Never before have I had the audacity to pen lyrics that are so indulgently self-pitying – and, for me, that’s saying something. Let’s just say that it has been one of those months.”
