To coincide with digital release...
A new interactive video has emerged to compliment Feist and Mastodon's recent single.
Record Store Day usually draws out some unexpected collaborations. This year, Feist and Mastodon agreed to cross swords after bumping into each other backstage at Later... With Jools Holland.
The one off single saw the two artists cover each other's material, with Feist opting for 'Black Tongue' while Mastodon went for 'A Commotion'.
Given a limited edition vinyl pressing, the single sold out almost instantly. Given a full digital pressing yesterday (July 31st) the track is available to download now.
To coincide with this, a new video has been posted online featuring both sides of the single. The clip features Feist sawing away at a violin, while controls underneath enable fans to switch between tracks.
Set up like a mixer, you can even mash the two tracks together. It's a disconcerting listen, for sure, but whatever gets you through the night...
Find the video HERE.
Looking ahead, Feist has confirmed plans for a European tour. Shuffling around the continent, the Canadian born artist is set to play a headline set at this year's instalment of the Green Man.
