The Oscars held their annual In Memorium segment last night (February 26th) – and their wasn't a dry eye in the house.
In case you hadn't noticed, 2016 was a pretty bleak year, marked by the demise of some truly iconic talent.
The Academy Awards acknowledge those who pass away each year, but last night's instalment was particularly emotive.
Jennifer Anniston introduced the segment, tearfully mentioning actor Bill Paxton who passed away at the weekend.
Sarah Bareilles performed a version of Joni Mitchell’s classic ‘Both Sides Now’, while the memorium video included sections dedicated to Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds, Prince, John Hurt, and more.
