Tortoise' Doug McCombs' side project...

Tortoise musician Doug McCombs is preparing to make a return to Europe - check out a new video crafted by Bradley Sellers.

Tortoise share more in common with the jazz idea of a collective, rather than the rock idea of a band. Far from being hemmed in by shared ideals, the musicians involved are free to splinter off, working on a myriad of side projects.

Doug McCombs has always been prolific, and recently hooked up with Brokeback. Typically experimental, the group's cerebral bent is matched to an emotional touch which is difficult to shrug off.

Returning to Europe for a rare series of live performances, Brokeback will share the bill with Daughn Gibson. Shifting around the country, the tour reaches London on November 22nd, with Brokeback due to play a headline show at Heath Street Baptist Church.

Ahead of this, Clash is able to present some very special visuals. 'Tonight at Ten / Tonight at Elevan' has been set to imagery, courtesy of a video made by Bradley Sellers for Brokeback.

Deeply engrossing, you can watch it below.
