Velvet Revolver Collaboration

With Girls Aloud?

Girls Aloud star and X Faxtor guru Cheryl Cole has reveals that former Guns N Roses bassist Duff McKagan has offered tour with the scantily clad quintet.

McKagan played with debauched rockers Guns N Roses, touring the world and leaving behind him a trail of chaos and unamused hotel staff. Since leaving the band, McKagan has joined fellow Guns N Roses exiles in forming new hard rock outfit Velvet Revolver, and it is this act which could be touring with the pop sensations.

Speaking to British red top The Sun, McKagan said “Girls Aloud — I’m like, ‘What the hell is this?’ It’s amazing, like great pop songs, you know — like the whole stick . . . I think it’s brilliant”.

Asked about McKagan's comments, Cheryl Cole told a reporter “He offered to give us his band to take with us on tour. I mean, Guns N’ Roses? What’s going on?”

Cole failed to elaborate further on which band would be touring with her, but we reckon she just forgot.

Velvet Revolver are currently looking for a frontman after dispensing with the services of Scott Weiland - formerly of Stone Temple Pilots. Could there be a collaboration on the card? Only time will tell.
