V Fest 09

After the success of this year's Chelmsford and Stafford V Festivals, the organisers have decided to release a batch of early bird tickets immediately, with most of the fest-goers still on-site or leaving this morning.

This year saw Muse pulling out a legendary performance, hindered only by the band's wish to "make it even bigger", with Health & Safety pulling the plug on Bellamy's ever-extravagant, space-sized visions.

Duffy, The Prodigy and Amy Winehouse also appeared, the latter as ever courting a wave of media attention and bringing her new guitar along too, which reports suggest she didn't actually play, although did hold onto throughout her set.

No acts have been confirmed for next year's V Fest, although judging by this year's success, the pop-heavy Fest should easily sell out yet again.
