Unreleased Michael Jackson Tracks Found

New Jackson 5 compilation due

Fans of Michael Jackson have been shocked by news of a new compilation featuring unreleased material from the star's time in The Jackson 5.

Snapped up by Motown, Jackson 5 became an overnight sensation. Hitting big in an America riddled by poverty and racial tension, the group borrowed Sly & The Family's rainbow soul and added James Brown's stagecraft.

Becoming the first group in the history of the Billboard charts to hit number one with their first five singles, The Jackson 5 were an almost immediate sensation.

With their flared jump suits and afros the band became almost instantly recognisable icons. Later spawning a cartoon series The Jackson 5 would split in the late 70s with the rise of Michael Jackson as a solo star.

With news of his death breaking earlier this year, fans of Michael Jackson have looked back with fondness to his early career as a child star.

A new compilation aims to celebrate The Jackson 5 with a host of new material becoming available. Titled 'I Want You Back! Unreleased Masters' the new album runs to twelve tracks and provides a unique view of the group.

Opening with 'Man's Temptation' the album contains a series of unreleased tracks. 'That's How Love Is' has just been released as a single on iTunes, with an alternate version of 'Never Can Say Goodbye' also set to appear.
