Supersonic Line Up Details

The people behind the celebrated Supersonic festival series are set to take their line-up to Birmingham this summer, boasting one of the most leftfield line-ups we've yet to stumble across.

With a line-up spanning metal, folk, electro and noise, Supersonic 09 will see a dizzying assortment acts, from industrial stoner rock outfit Head Of David playing their first show in 23 years and Baltimore prog-folk specialists Arbouretum propping up the bill.

Now in its seventh year and curated by local music promoters Capsule, Supersonic '09 will take place between the 24-26th July at the Birmingham Custard Factory, the weekend annually combines a passion for film and music into a cinematic, mind-altering attack on the senses. A good thing, we're sure you'll agree.

Other additions to the bill will be symphonic Italian prog outfit Goblin, electro noise manglerCaribou and Sheffield post-punks 65daysofstatic (hear them as part of our Track Of The Day feature here).
