U2 Added To Grammy Awards

Alison Krauss and more to perform

Irish rock legends U2 have been added to the line up for the forthcoming Grammy Award ceremony.

It's that time of year again - the Grammy Awards are nearly upon us. One of the biggest and most important music award ceremonies in the world, the Grammys are a lavish ball with glitz and glamour by the barrel-load.

Already confirmed for the bill this year are Radiohead, Coldplay and faux-lesbit Katy Perry. Sir Paul McCartney is also set for a spectacular performance with none other than Dave Grohl sitting behind the drum stool.

U2 are set to release new album 'No Line On The Horizon' soon. Although we haven't heard the album yet, here's a career retrospective to feast your eyes on!

British acts are set to dominate the ceremony, with a host of nominations in all categories. In the 'Record Of The Year' category each entry has some form of British involvement.

Amongst the other bands due to play the ceremony are the Jonas Brothers, Kenny Chesney, Jay-Z and many more.

This year's Grammy Awards will take place in Los Angeles on February 8th.
