The rapper seems to think so...

Odd Future rapper Tyler, The Creator has named himself the biggest internet troll of 2011.

Tyler, The Creator could spark an argument in an empty room. In fact, due to the growth of social networking, the rapper has no doubt caused numerous online debates from the comfort of an empty room.

Recently logging into Twitter, Tyler, The Creator told fans that M.I.A. rapper EARL Sweatshirt had returned to Los Angeles. Apparently in the studio with Odd Future, the news almost immediately became a trending topic.

Sadly, though, it was all a ruse. Tyler, The Creator later Tweeted: "Thebe Said That I Need The Award For Biggest Troll Of 2011." Continuing, the rapper later said: "Wanted To Tell You Guys Again That I Am Troll Of 2011"

Currently working on new material, Tyler, The Creator's upcoming album will be titled 'Wolf' and apparently finds the rapper in a fresh, mature mood.

Speaking to Spin, the rapper said: "Talking about rape and cutting bodies up, it just doesn't interest me anymore... What interests me is making weird hippie music for people to get high to. With Wolf, I'll brag a little more, talk about money and buying shit. But not like any other rapper, I'll be a smart-ass about it. Now it's just girls throwing themselves at me and shit, but I got a girl back home."

"People who want the first album again, I can't do that. I was 18, broke as fuck. On my third album, I have money and I'm hanging out with my idols. I can't rap about the same shit."

Odd Future are due to stir in the New Year, after announcing a full British tour in the Spring. Confirming a series of tour dates, the rap collective caused an enormous rush for sales from concert starved British fans.

Dates are as follows:

28 Birmingham O2 Academy
29 London O2 Academy Brixton
31 Manchester Academy

1 Glasgow O2 ABC
