'Digital Lion' and 'Voyeur (Dub)' hit the web
James Blake

Two new James Blake tracks have emerged online, check out 'Digital Lion' and 'Voyeur (Dub)' below.

Fusing bass weight with confessional songwriting, James Blake's debut album marked the emergence of a major new talent. Taking time off to head back into the studio last year, the English artist has emerged with something quite special.

Second album 'Overgrown' will be released later this year, with lead single 'Retrograde' already making its mark. Last night, though, two previously unreleased tracks hit the web...

1Xtra's Benji B dropped a James Blake track into his show, premiering the dub version of album track 'Voyeur'. It's a fascinating listen - swamped in atmospheric effects, Blake's voice swoops and swoons with a rare confidence.

James Blake recently played an intimate DJ set at London's Plastic People as part of 1-800 Dinosaur. The night gave fans a treat last night, sharing the producer's track 'Digital Lion'.

JA reference aside, this is a typically fragile production from James Blake with the vocals reduced to little more than shards, flecks of sound before a skanking riddim emerges from the murk.
