Two Gallants are set to release new album 'The Bloom and the Blight' on October 8th.

Sometimes a break does you the world of good. Here in the Clash office, when writers face a stumbling block our best advice is simply to turn off your computer and go for a nice, relaxing walk.

Two Gallants obviously decided that similar advice was needed. The band went on hiatus for three years, but recently opted to get back together.

Signing with Fargo Records, the band are now gearing up to release their first new album in five years. 'The Bloom and the Blight' will be released on October 8th, and seemingly fell into place in a perfectly natural manner.

“We went on different paths these past years,” Tyson Vogel explained recently. “But I think we share a common feeling, a commitment to try to transcend what we’ve gone through… and build something stronger out of it.”
