Guillemots, British Sea Power and more...

Truck Festival has expanded its summer line up with Guillemots, British Sea Power and more set to take part.

Truck Festival is under new ownership. The founders of the Oxford event stepped down earlier this year, arguing that they had simply taken the event as far as they could.

With new organisers stepping in, fans wondered how this would affect the summer festival. In the event, it seems that Truck is going to pick up exactly where it left off.

Returning to Oxford, Truck will welcome performances from Guillemots, British Sea Power and more. Making a new line up announcement, organisers seemed to underline their commitment to the event's reputation.

Guillemots are an always special live experience, with the band recently confirming two - entirely acoustic - London shows. Thankfully using a PA for Truck, the group will match new material with some tried and tested favourites.

British Sea Power love the summer season, so much so that they once curated their own festival. Hitting Truck, the ever enjoyable indie mavericks will no doubt have a few surprises up their sleeves.

Elsewhere, Three Trapped Tigers will stop by while The Temper Trap, The Low Anthem, King Charles, Johnny Foreigner, Tall Ships and more have all been confirmed.

Truck still have slots to fill, and are inviting bands to get in touch. Organisers will whittle down the list of submissions before asking the winners to perform a set at the much loved summer event.

To apply, bands can send an email with links to 2-3 recordings on Soundcloud or Youtube to:

Truck Festival runs between July 20th - 21st.
