Tricky Announces Massive Tour

Legendary Bristol musician Tricky is set to return in 2009 with a series of massive UK tour dates, it has been announced.

The one time member of the Wild Bunch soundsystem with Massive Attack member 3D, Tricky worked closely with the Bristol group before going his own way to pursue a singular musical vision. Breakthrough album 'Maxinquaye' scored stunning reviews and was a massive chart success as Tricky established himself as one of the top electronic producers in the UK.

The legendary musician returned this year with the nostalgic 'Knowle West Boy'. A concept album centered on the council estate he grew up on in Bristol, it gathers together the various threads of his musical vision into a uniquely personal portrait.

A superb live performer, Tricky has announced a series of massive UK dates including a mouth-watering date at legendary Glasgow nightspot The Arches.

Tricky will play the following dates:

February 18th - Manchester, Academy
February 19th - Glasgow, Arches
February 20th - London, Shepherds Bush Empire
