Ignore The Night
Winter Drones

Although Leon J. Dufficy's name may not be well known, his output should be more than familiar to Clash readers.

The guitarist has worked with Sub Pop signings Still Corners, before recording with Hush Arbors last year.

Returning to his solo moniker, the songwriter began sketching out material for a new Winter Drones album. Slow, meditative material which is all fuzzy around the edges, 'Heavy Eyes' has that hazy, mysterious feel which slips between dreaming and waking up.

Impressionistic shoegaze sketches, Dufficy also impacts a pop sensibility on proceedings - sure, there may be darkness in his guitar murk, but this is matched to a blissful melodic feel.

Out on April 14th via the always-reliable Marshall Teller imprint, Winter Drones' new album 'Heavy Eyes' will be given a limited edition vinyl pressing.

Ahead of this, Clash is able to premiere new track 'Ignore The Night'. Check it out now...
