'Take 'Em On' (T Power Remix ft. Zoe Theodorou)

A fluid, jazz-inflected phenomenon, The Herbaliser spent the bulk of the 90s breaking boundaries.

Returning in 2012 with new album 'There Were Seven', the renowned London collective somehow managed to raise the bar yet again.

Since then, The Herbaliser have spent time on the road, making new acquaintances and grabbing fresh ideas in the process. Deciding to integrate these in their music, the group recruited a number of producers to assist on a new remix project.

'There Were Seven' has been completely re-worked, with the new edition feature fifteen different remixes sitting alongside seven entirely new instrumentals.

Out on June 30th, 'There Were Seven - Remixes' is yet more evidence of The Herbaliser's re-invigoration. Ahead of this, Clash is able to premiere something entirely new from the London collective...

Drum 'n' bass guru T Power has stepped in to re-work 'Take 'Em On', producing a heavy, horn laden monster. Jazz influences come to the fore, alongside a hefty dollop of bass built for only the most sturdy of speakers.
