Track Of The Day 19/9 - That Fucking Tank

Dave Grolsch
A Document Of The Last Set

That Fucking Tank are ten years old.

Let's soak up that morsel of information for a minute: a band from Leeds who are impossible to pigeon hole, who have no vocalist, who use only drums and baritone guitar have lasted for an entire decade.

It's an astonishing feat, a tribute to their determination and sheer dogged devotion. With that in mind, That Fucking Tank have decided to piece together a new release to toast their tenth birthday.

'A Document of The Last Set' was produced by Hookworms' vocalist Matthew Johnson, and uses only minimal re-takes and post-production. A raw, intense listening experience, the album is about as close to the band's live experience as you can get without staring them straight in the eye.

Out on October 21st via Gringo, Clash is able to bring you an exclusive preview. Ever a band who put an incredible amount of thought and imagination into their song titles, 'Dave Grolsch' is a raucous head-fuck of righteous noise from start to finish.

It's not hardcore. It's not metal. It's not punk. It's just That Fucking Tank.

'A Document of The Last Set' is set to be released on October 21st - pre-order link.
