Track Of The Day 18/1 – Hollie Cook

'Stay Alive' (Hempolics Remix)

Hollie Cook has always been able to use music in different ways.

Sometimes it's a place of solace, at others it's a source of pride, an inspiration almost in itself.

New album 'Vessel Of Love' emerges this month (pre-order your copy HERE), and it's bound by varying emotions, different textures and hues all pieced together by her soulful approach.

New single 'Stay Alive' uses songwriter as a means to pull her out of the depths, with its sunshine soul matched against some personal lyricism.

Hollie explains: “This was the second song written for the album! For me it’s about having bad days and feeling together in loneliness, as well as what we do to feel alive.”

The full video is online now, and we're able to share a full remix by Hempolics. Definitely on a reggae tip, they match that carefree vocal to some tropical tones and a Caribbean rhythm.

It's a free workout, but it's also extremely musical, finding new balance within Hollie Cook's music. Tune in below, then catch the video after the jump.
