A Norwegian, A Brazilian and an Irishman meet in Liverpool...
It almost sounds like the beginning of a Bernard Manning routine, but the reality is - as ever - somewhat different. Liverpool's Institute of Performing Arts has provided a hub for new musicians, for people across the globe who want to try something new.
Already producing the likes of Heavenly signed trio Stealing Sheep, LIPA (as it's known) is fast becoming a hotbed for young talent. A cross-national collective, All We Are could well enhance that relationship somewhat further.
Essentially a pop project, the trio submerge their melodies in swirling psych harmonies and cotton-wool-soft synths. Blissful vocals caught in a codeine fug, new single 'Utmost Good' is set to be released on June 17th via Obscenic.
Recorded and produced by Joe Wills, this is moody, fragmented R&B which retains a sense of mystery. Ahead of its release, Clash have been handed a new remix by reclusive producer Baardsen.
Becoming a blog favourite for his Grimes re-work last year, Baardsen pieces apart 'All We Are' to craft this cough syrup flavoured remix. All knackered beats and yawning vocals, you can listen to it below.
'Utmost Good' is set to be released on June 17th.
