Track Of The Day 10/1 – Flying Horseman

'Bright Light'

Antwerp's Flying Horseman recognised from the start that if they were to make music then it had to be on their terms.

Since then, it's been a joy to listen to what they've constructed, sharp-edged art-rock hymns that deviate from the norm before plunging back into lush melody.

New album 'Rooms / Ruins' arrives on February 23rd (pre-order LINK), and yet again the Belgian band have kept us guessing.

Moving from grey-flecked post-punk to riotous blues onslaught, gentle folk finger-picking to all out noise, it's a record marked by a rare sense of depth.

New song 'Bright Light' is online now, a wonderfully creative document that raises hopes still further for the band's upcoming full length.

From the martial feel in the drums to those lazer-guided guitars, 'Bright Light' is a relentless forward rush of new ideas and fresh elements.

Tune in below.
