Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello is set to release a second solo album later this year, it has been revealed.

The iconic guitarist, best known for the cap he wears onstage, is set to release new album "The Fabled City" in the US on September 30th. Morello is extremely active politically, frequently championing left-wing causes on and off stage. The album will feature System Of A Down's Serj Tankian, as well as Shooter Jennings.

The follow up to his 2007 solo debut "One Man Revolution", the album was produced by long-time collaborator Brendan O'Brien who assisted on the guitarist's first solo LP as well as with Rage Against The Machine.

Tom Morello will release "The Fabled City" in the US on September 30th.
