Toddla T has stepped in to remix The Pioneers' classic reggae anthem 'Let Your Yeah Be Yeah'.

Soundsystem culture spans ages, generations. The love of bass frequencies seems to smash through decades, with the latest Tectonic plate carrying the same weight as a classic Trojan release.

Case in point? Well Toddla T recently stepped in to remix a genuine reggae classic. The Pioneers were kings at a time when the skinhead movement was at its peak, and 'Let Your Yeah Be Yeah' remains a perennial classic.

Invited by Clarks Originals to remix the track, Toddla T has responded with a straight up drum 'n' bass re-working. Available to download from the Clarks Originals website, you can grab the cut HERE.

The new remix is part of a four segment series, in which modern producers tackle reggae classics. Looking ahead, you can expect free music from Riva Starr, Mighty Crown and Brainfeeder signed producer Tokimonsta.

Looking ahead, Toddla T is also set to be the subject of a remix project himself. Last year's full length 'Watch Me Dance' is to be completely re-worked, with Sheffield legends Ross Orton and Pipes remixing the material. Much more than a remix collection, 'Watch Me Dance: Agitated' seemingly works as an album in its own right.

'Watch Me Dance: Agitated' is set to be released in August.
