Three Trapped Tigers launch EP
ClashMusic.com faves in the capital
ClashMusic.com is expecting to get pretty excited about this band in 2009, so consider this your heads-up.
Three Trapped Tigers are a trio from London whose instrumental electro-rock is already attracting comparisons to the likes of Holy Fuck, 65daysofstatic and Battles. It’s boisterous and brainy, accessible and addictive, and sometimes incredibly tender. And it’s coming to ClashMusic.com soon as a Track of the Day.
Look out for the trio’s ‘3’ – they don’t name their songs as such – as a Track of the Day download next week; it’s taken from their debut EP, a self-titled affair scheduled for release on November 17 through Blood & Biscuits. The record's produced by Gordon Raphael. To mark the date, the band is playing a £1-in launch party in London. Details as follows…
