Radiohead Frontman Hosts 6 Music's Sunday Mix
Thom Yorke

In the same week that Noel Gallagher tried his hand at playing radio disc jockey on Absolute Radio, Thom Yorke is following suit as he takes over BBC 6 Music’s 6 Mix on Sunday. Tuesday saw Radiohead present a release party for their new remix album, so those lucky enough to attend will have already played witness to Yorke’s efforts. Those who didn’t and who can’t wait, fear not. Here’s a little taster of what you can expect:

Rarely heard aloud except for on record, the Radiohead front man will be finding his voice as he guides listeners through his picks, telling us all about where and when he first heard them. Said picks include the likes of Zomby, Emika and James Blake and are to be played alongside a number of exclusive new tracks from himself, while Radiohead remixes that didn’t quite make TKOL RMX 134677 are likely to be heard too.

The show starts at 8pm on BBC 6 Music on Sunday 16th October.
