Thom Yorke always likes to try something unexpected.
Across the weekend reports emerged that the Radiohead singer had made a guest appearance at a festival in Cornwall.
The rather intimate Leopallooza event was in full swing, when the frontman offered to play a DJ set in the backstage area.
The tiny slot was seemingly impromptu, and arose due to Thom Yorke's longstanding admiration for the DIY party at Lower Exe Farm in North Cornwall.
One of the festival's organisers Cai Waggett told Pitchfork: "Thom is a good friend of the festival and he understands the DIY ethos of this independent event, and he offered a late-night set in our backstage area as a little exclusive, playing alongside the excellent DJ Samo. It was purposely kept quiet until very close to his performance so as not to overshadow anything else going on at the time."
Seemingly, Thom Yorke also played Leopallooza last year - check out the photo above.
