Tomorrow night This Feeling celebrates its 10th anniversary with a tasty line-up featuring Carl Barat, Broken Hands, White Room and more spread over two rooms at London's famous 229 Venue. With the events having played host to so many great bands we managed to grab a few words from the bands who know it best!
'This Feeling know a good thing when they hear it and at a time when guitar music is being under appreciated, they are keeping it honest and real. In a world where our legendary venues are being mercilessly snatched by developers, they offer one of the few consistent platforms for up and coming bands. If you're going to see the emergence of a new great band you'll see them at This Feeling first. Come the revolution they will be crowned Kings. Long live This Feeling.' Carl Barat
“This sense of warmth and compassion has fallen quite flat in the digital age, we don't really need to form communities anymore to meet people like us, so would it be trite to suggest that This Feeling is like a family?” Foxes Magazine
It's the club night where Rock 'n, Roll royalty hang out (Liam, Noel, Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys, Jake Bugg and more) and which has recently helped launched the likes of Blossoms, Catfish And The Bottlemen, The Struts, The Bohicas and many many more. Unfazed by what industry label as ‘hot property’, This Feeling are way ahead of the curve with new band bookings.
And now This Feeling is celebrating its 10th birthday in typically huge style...2 rooms, 1 gigantic night Friday October 28th at London's 229 venue, Great Portland Road.
