These Arms / Tropics : Joint Tour

American post-hardcore bands These Arms Are Snakes and Tropics will both venture out on a joint tour of the UK in November.

Although the two bands' tour will be relatively small, they have also confirmed they will release a split single which will see These Arms.. contributing track 'Meet Your Mayor', whilst fellow punks Tropics will supply 'Future Gets Tense' to the joint release.

A US outfit (These Arms hail from Seattle) joining UK punks (Tropics) isn't the first time of late two bands from other sides of the pond have released a split single, with Foals and F*cked Up set to unleash a record covering one another's tracks (a trick also pulled off in the early days of Leeds bands The Cribs and Kaisers).
