Them Crooked Vultures UK Debut?

Supergroup tipped for secret show

All star musical team up Them Crooked Vultures have been tipped as the stars of a secret show tonight (August 26th).

Them Crooked Vultures are one of the year's most talked about groups. Formed by a trio of superstar musicians, the band links together Foo Fighters, Queens Of The Stone Age and Led Zeppelin.

Starring Josh Homme, Dave Grohl and John Paul Jones little has been heard of Them Crooked Vultures to date. The band have played two secret shows so far, with their last appearance coming in Amsterdam.

One fan who attended the show leaked footage onto the internet, which showed the group to be working on heavy, blues-driven material. Which is unsurprising considering who is involved!

Now the band could be set to make their British debut. Arctic Monkeys are set to play London's O2 Academy Brixton tonight (August 26th) and the support act has yet to be named. Speculation had suggested that Britpop group Echobelly could reform, but NME has now named Them Crooked Vultures as the support act.

According to the newspaper the Trans-Atlantic act are the favourites to tread the boards at the O2 Academy Brixton. Long since sold out, the show is Arctic Monkeys warm up date before Reading and Leeds.

The band are due to release their new album 'Humbug' soon, with production duties on the record having been handled by none other than Josh Homme...

No official confirmation has been made, with the doors of the O2 Academy Brixton set to swing open at 7.30pm.
