Dundee indie upstarts The View have mapped their first summer shows for May, which will see them playing London and Manchester.

Having returned with their second album 'Which Bitch' (review here), The View are set to return to the live circuit in the summer, announcing only two UK shows so far, with a series of festival dates likely.

Clash recently caught up with the band to get the lowdown on their touring antics, their new songs and recording with Owen Morris (read our Q&A here), ahead of their now-highly-successful sophomore LP.

With a more experimental edge than the jangle-pop showcased on debut 'Hats Off To The Buskers', The View's second album nevertheless spent weeks in the top ten, proving the band's loyal fanbase to be as ardent as ever.
