The Thermals To Support The Cribs

Band join the Jarmans, plus release album

Ex-Sub Pop grunge outfit The Thermals have announced they will be supporting The Cribs on their upcoming UK tour dates, and also releasing an album on April 16th .

The Portland based power-pop outfit will release the album 'Now We Can See' in April, having now switched labels to the celebrated Kill Rockstars label, but will also fit in a tour with The Cribs and a handful of headline solo live dates throughout February. The two bands have toured together on numerous occasions, so fans of either will probably have seen them on the same bill previously.

Having just got themselves a new drummer, The Thermals recorded the new album with Polyphonic Spree producer John Congleton, and have described their new sound as a "great leap in fidelity (you might even called it hi-fidelity) thanks to John, who brought massive amounts of sound and bombastic style to the project."

Raynor Lounge in Sheffield on the 7th February
The Lexington in London on the 9th February
