The Temper Trap have outlined plans for an extensive European tour this Autumn.

They’ve been away for quite some time, but trying to upstage the popularity of ‘Sweet Disposition’ - the track featured in 500 Days Of Summer which shot them to fame - wouldn’t be an easy task to undertake.

But now Australian collective The Temper Trap return with a new single, ‘Trembling Hands’ (released 9th July via Infectious Music and is taken off their self-titled second album), an equally massive song that features the signature falsetto vocal parts that the band have become known for.

The video for the new single features an acrobatic duo and follows their relationship through the course of the story. It also features the band’s lead singer, Dougy Mandagi, who seemingly stalks the team throughout without being noticed, smiling and laughing at them from afar.

On the back of four months of sold out shows across the globe, The Temper Trap have also announced a major European tour for September-October, concluding with a performance at London’s Hammersmith Apollo.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 22nd June.

Watch the video for 'Trembling Hands' below and then check out the full details after the jump.
