Beady Eye, Primal Scream and more...

The Stone Roses have confirmed the support acts for their epic comeback shows at Manchester's Heaton Park.

After more than a decade of truculent rows, speculation, heartache and rumour... The Stone Roses are back. In the end, all it took was a simple press conference for the Manchester legends to confirm their re-union, kick-started with an epic run at Heaton Park.

Tickets sold out almost instantly, with fans left to wonder who would play support. In a short announcement yesterday, The Stone Roses finally put them out of their misery by confirming the rest of the bill.

Describing it as "a mix of the legendary and the new" the bill mixes iconic reggae act The Wailers with new acts such as Professor Green.

Plan B is scheduled to perform, while Liam Gallagher's dreams will come true after Beady Eye were picked to play support. The one time Oasis frontman has always cited a show by The Stone Roses as the reason he wanted to make music, and has remained a tireless champion of the band.

The support bill contains a few twists, such as the Justice Tonight Band. Formed to play benefit shows for the Hillsborough Justice Campaign, the group features Mick Jones, Pete Wylie and members of The Farm.
