The Rolling Stones To Resume World Tour In May

Following death of L'Wren Scott...

The death of L'Wren Scott earlier this year left partner Mick Jagger devastated, and brought The Rolling Stones' world tour to a halt.

Cancelling a series of Australian dates, the singer attempted to escape the limelight to grieve for the fashion designer in some semblance of peace.

Issuing a statement, the frontman said: "I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way. We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves."

He continued: "She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me. I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received. I will never forget her, Mick."

Now the Rolling Stones have confirmed re-arranged dates for effected concerts. Dates in Australia will re-commence in October, while previously announced European shows will take place this summer.

Amongst their commitments, the legendary rock 'n' rollers are set to headline this year's instalment of Danish festival Roskilde.
