The Paddingtons Return
New Single, Album Due
Notorious indie rockers The Paddingtons are set to return with their long awaited second album 'No Mundane Options' on November 3rd, it has been announced.
The Paddingtons came blazing out of Hull with a white hot live show and material that spoke of their frustration living in suburban Britain. Debut album 'First Comes First' was a cult favorite on its release in 2005, and this new album comes with no amount of expectation.
Second album 'No Mundane Options' finds the band in a new musical landscape, but keen to re-assert themselves. Recorded in Glasgow, the studio was a frequent party zone with members of The View dropping by to visit their friends and idols.
Well known for their own stage enthusiasm, The Paddingtons take their sense of fun everywhere with them. This summer in Spain when the Padds played the Summercase Festival, affable drummer Grant picked the unsuspecting Johnny Borrell up and despite protests from Borrell wouldn't put him down til he'd run round the back stage area in front of the likes of the Dandy Warhols and Keane and the other members of Razorlight. Borrell was not pleased. Everyone else was.
The Paddingtons release new album 'No Mundane Options' on November 3rd. It will be preceded by the single 'What's The Point Of Anything New'.
