The Moonlandingz have shared their mind-blowing new single 'The Strangle Of Anna'.
The debauched psychedelic band have stopped main-lining brown acid just long enough to complete a full, proper debut album, with 'Interplanetary Class Classics' due to arrive on March 24th.
Ahead of this, The Moonlandingz have shared new single 'The Strangle Of Anna', and it's a cranium-shattering piece of heavyweight psych.
The burden of inter-dimensional aural voyaging seems to weigh heavily on their souls, with Slow Club's Rebecca Taylor on hand to loan guest vocals.
Adrian Flanagan of the Moonlandingz offered the following…
“We wrote the song from the viewpoint of the girlfriend of some cliched, self absorbed, pound-shop indie Lou Reed wannabe, who plays in some velvets/ Mary chain-esque shoddy local band..You know the type , sociopathic skinny boys in leather jackets and winkle pickers, with cry baby, light weight, borderline drug problem – and with egos that far outweighs their talent for playing the chords, C, F and G through a fuzz guitar pedal, drenched in reverb. I think every woman has a tale about being with such Grade A Black Clouds!!”
Tune in now.
