The Kills Announce New EP

Red hot blues rockin' two piece The Kills are set to release a new EP.

Way back when, The Kills were an aspiring act going by the names VV and Hotel. Now, though, with Kate Moss in tow the group go by the birth names.

The music hasn't changed though - seismically charged blues riffing with singer Alison Mosshart wailing in top like a woman in despair.

Last year's album 'Midnight Boom' was another triumph, garnering great reviews as the band's profile went through the roof. The Kills have revealed they are preparing a new EP titled 'Black Balloon'.

The title track is taken from the previous album, and will feature a number of new acoustic tracks. Due out in the United States on April 14th, it is not known when the 'Black Balloon' EP will reach these shores.

In other Kills related news, the band have been added to the line up for Coachella, which will act as a springboard for a number of Stateside appearances. Let's hope it goes a bit better than the band's last trip to the States - their tour bus was stolen!
