The Killers have been installed as the final headliners for next summer's Isle of Wight festival.
Winter is drawing in. Across the country, icy winds are blasting the final leaves from the trees while stormy weather is causing damage to transport and communication. Thankfully, though, we have the summer festival season to look forward to.
The Isle of Wight - one of the year's undoubted heavyweights - is busy putting the finishing touches to next year's bill, with the final headliner for the event being unveiled.
The Killers are set to headline the Isle of Wight festival 2013. Returning with 'Battle Born' earlier this year, the Las Vegas group have played a series of enormous nationwide shows. Setting their sights on the summer season, the band have already confirmed an appearance at T In The Park.
Set to return to the Isle of Wight festival, The Killers are set to play a no doubt spectacular headline set. John Giddings, the Festival’s promoter, said: “We are proud to bring one of the world’s greatest rock bands of the last decade to our small island off the South Coast of England…thanks for coming-it will be a weekend to remember!”
Tickets are on sale now.
