The Killers Cancel Manchester Shows

Although they will be re-scheduled...

The Killers have been forced to pull two shows in Manchester after singer Brandon Flowers lost his voice.

Touring might seem like the dream life to fans, but continually travelling around the globe can takes its toll on the hardiest of individuals. Midway through a British tour, The Killers are beginning to show signs of performance fatigue.

Performing at Manchester's MEN Arena last night (November 13th) Brandon Flowers began to lose his voice. Struggling throughout, The Killers decided to halt the show due to fears over potential damage to the frontman's vocal cords.

Halting the show during the fourth song, The Killers were met with mild booing and confusion from fans. Tweeting shortly afterwards the band said: "Both Manchester shows (scheduled for the 13th & 14th) have been cancelled. We will have info about the rescheduled dates very soon."

The group later posted a follow up notice on Facebook: "Manchester, we started something we couldn't finish and we're so, so sorry. Working on rescheduling tonight and tomorrow's shows. Will let you know new dates ASAP."

Further information as we have it.
