The Killers & Coldplay To Play in London
Bands team up for War Child show
Both The Killers and Coldplay are set to team up for a massive War Child charity show to celebrate the release of the forthcoming 'Heroes' album.
Possibly the two biggest bands on the planet will both be appearing at the charity's fifteenth birthday bash and will play the Shepherd's Bush Empire on February 18th.
Hopefuls will have five days from 9am on Friday (January 30th) in order to register for a chance to buy tickets. Tickets will cost £50, and those registering will be entered into a lottery for their chance to get tickets.
The forthcoming LP 'Heroes', which also features Duffy and the Scissor Sisters, will itself be released on February 16th, following the show. All proceeds from the concert and album will go to War Child.
Sir Paul McCartney has also been speaking of the charity and their work, adding "I have been supporting War Child since 1995. Their work with children in war zones saves lives. It's great that so many people gave their time, energy and support to this initiative. The breadth of talent on this project is amazing."
