Rock 'n' roll heroes to split...
The Jim Jones Revue

A magnet for the lightning thrills of rock 'n' roll, The Jim Jones Revue were much more than mere revivalists.

Live and on record, the group sought to capture those fleeting, illicit moments and present them in the most modern, dynamic manner possible.

Sadly, the band have taken the decision to part company. In a short statement, The Jim Jones Revue said: "The Jim Jones Revue will cease playing live and recording in October 2014. To celebrate 7 raucous years of blowing apart venues around the world & reinventing the rocknroll wheel with 3 skull cracking studio albums The JJR will embark on a final UK tour. The Last Hurrah tour will blast through JJR strong holds Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Brighton and Norwich before reaching critical mass at The JJRs biggest ever headlining show at The Forum in London on Saturday 4 October. The Forum show will be a late license rocknroll extravaganza with a stellar cast of support acts, guests and DJs to be announced very soon."

Sad times.

The Jim Jones Revue will play the following shows:

26 Glasgow Oran Mor
27 Newcastle University
28 Manchester Sound Control
29 Leeds Brudenell Social Club

1 Bristol Trinity
2 Brighton The Old Market
3 Norwich Open
4 London The Forum
