The Jesus Lizard reform

Seminal punks to play ATP

Seminal Chicago punks The Jesus Lizard are to reform for next spring’s All Tomorrow’s Parties festival.

The raucous four-piece released six studio album before their spilt in 1999; the Touch & Go compilation ‘Bang’ followed in 2000, and they’ve remained an underground favourite since.

The original members will come together for a very limited number of dates in 2009, including a set at the thrice-annual ATP, held at Minehead Butlins on May 8-10. The ‘Fans Strike Back’ event, one of two in May 2009, has also added The Cave Singers to its bill, which already included Devo and Spiritualized.

The other, Breeders-curated May weekender, held May 15-17, has seen Shellac and Gang Of Four added to its bill. Get more ATP information and tickets from the official festival site – click HERE.
