The Invisible have announced plans for a British tour this October, as singer Dave Okumu makes a speedy recovery.

Earlier this year, The Invisible travelled to Lagos, Nigeria for a series of special concerts and collaborations. Tragically, singer Dave Okumu was electrocuted onstage during one of these shows and almost lost his life.

Returning home, the still stricken frontman held a "Dave Is Alive" party in London. Introducing The Invisible's new album 'Rispah' the singer explained that the record was - in part - a response to the death of his mother.

Giving a beautiful speech, it's not without exaggeration to say that everyone there left deeply moved by the occasion itself and by 'Rispah'. It's a special album.

Making a speed recovery, Dave Okumu will join The Invisible for a full British tour this October. Opening in Liverpool, the tour will hit Glasgow, Manchester and Leeds before hitting London on October 17th.

Taking place at Corsica Studios, the show will be a fantastic chance to catch The Invisible presenting what will no doubt rank as one of 2012's most emotive releases.
