!!! support slot confirmed

Emerging dance duo The Hundred In The Hands have confirmed a number of British tour dates this Autumn.

Hailing from New York, The Hundred In The Hands are not your average dance-pop duo. The band take elements of 80s synth production, but add in some bewitching, hard to place elements.

At times almost ethereal, the band's debut album could be a regarded as a sister piece to blissed out producers such as Neon Indian. Signed to Warp, the duo's avant pop received huge acclaim on its release this summer.

To date, The Hundred In The Hands have not played many British shows. The group have shied away from Europe, playing a number of North American tours throughout the summer months.

Now though, the band have confirmed a series of support slots with Warp labelmates !!!. Recently returning with their new album, !!! have overcome the death of drummer Jerry Fuchs to produce one of their finest works.

Much more linear than previous efforts, 'Strange Weather, Isn't It?' nonetheless contains some bewildering and inspirational moments. Organising a full scale UK tour, !!! have invited The Hundred In The Hands along for the party.

Opening in Manchester on October 29th, the shows take the duo around the country. Dates in Glasgow, Liverpool, Leeds, Bristol and more are set to follow before the tour comes to a close in London on November 4th.

Taking place at the Koko venue, the final date should become a riotous party for both groups.

The Hundred In The Hands are set to play the following shows:

29 Manchester Academy 2
30 Glasgow Classic Grand
31 Liverpool Stanley Theatre

1 Leeds The Cockpit
2 Bristol Ansom Rooms
3 Brighton Concorde II
4 London Koko
