The Holloways UK Tour
Skiffle punks return
North London fiddle-punks The Holloways are set to return for a UK tour this summer, ahead of the release of their second album, which is set to be released in September.
Named after the London district of the same name, The Holloways found success in debut 'So This Is Great Britain'. A biting retort to modern day blighty, their debut saw the band merge humour and sarcasm with ramshackle fiddle-punk.
The band's riotous live shows have seen them playing on boats, busking for cash and jamming on beaches so far, with more antics expected to follow when their tour starts in June.
The four-piece recently joined Lee Mavers and Carl Barat at this year's Camden Crawl Festival, which saw them tear through a 4 song set with the La's legend.
The La's themselves are currently rumoured to be set to begin work on their second album with members of Babyshambles, an L.P. itself already shrouded in speculation due to their classic debut being recorded nineteen years ago.
