The Helio Sequence are set to release their new album 'Negotiations' on September 10th.

Funny how these things turn out. Heading out on tour, The Helio Sequence were interrupted by one minor detail: their studio had flooded.

Alerted late at night, the band discovered their Portland complex had been placed under a foot of water. Thankfully, The Helio Sequence didn't lose any equipment but the band were forced to shift location.

Turning this to their advantage, the band settled into a 1500-square-foot, former breakroom-cafeteria in an old warehouse. Relaxing into their new space, The Helio Sequence have returned with what is said to be a surprising, varied album.

Sub Pop will release 'Negotiations' on September 10th, with The Helio Sequence placing the following trailer online.
