The organisers of The Green Man have unveiled a new dance stage featuring Squarepusher and more.

Initially a festival focussing on the bustling alternative folk scene, The Green Man has outgrown its original aims. There are still plenty of beards and acoustic guitars on show, but these are mixed in with other styles on an increasingly eclectic bill.

Now The Green Man have confirmed plans to launch a dance stage. The Welsh festival will this year boast the 'Far Out After Dark' stage which contains appearances from seminal producers, new talent and more.

The first instalment of Far Out After Dark will be headlined by Squarepusher. An absolute legend in electronic circles, Tom Jenkinson's output is amongst the most influential to bear the Warp stamp.

The producer is known for a stunning live show, which blends live instrumentation - check out his skills on the bass - with some groundbreaking laptop manipulation.

Squarepusher are set to resonate around the Brecon Beacons this summer, joined by a disparate cast. London born Berlin based techno don Ewan Pearson is also set to appear to play a special DJ at The Green Man.

Elsewhere, Joe Goddard's latest project The 2 Bears are due to perform fresh from the release of their latest EP 'Take A Look Around'. As usual, expect plenty of fun onstage with the odd surprise or two.

The line up is completed by appearances from the likes of seminal DJ and producer Andrew Weatherall, Clark, post-dubstep outfit Darkstar and more.

Each of the three nights will be themed, with a raft of special guests planned. As a special bonus the organisers of The Green Man have pushed back the curfew, meaning that fans can soak up the music until 4am.

Tickets are on sale now.

The Green Man runs between August 19th - 21st.
