The Flaming Lips have uploaded footage of a series of Beatles covers including a wild rendition of 'I Am The Walrus'.
The Flaming Lips seem to be respectful of their roots. Some time back, the band covered Pink Floyd's classic album 'The Dark Side Of The Moon' in its entirety, releasing the results on limited edition vinyl.
Now the band have turned their attention to The Beatles. The Flaming Lips played a couple of shows at New Year in their hometown of Oklahoma City, sharing the line up with with Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band.
In preparation, The Flaming Lips rattled through a few Beatles classics in their rehearsal room. George Salisbury was on hand at the Pink Floor Studio to capture the moment, with Stateside blog Psych Explorations of the Future Heart gathering the results.
