The Cure Play Secret Show

Band Unveil New Album

British goth-rock legends The Cure played a stunning set in the tiny Troubadour venue in Los Angeles on Saturday night (December 13th), it has been announced.

The band formed in the late 70s, led by iconic singer Robert Smith. Their blend of experimental rock, pop and electronic influences began one of the defining catalogues in goth music, attracting thousands of similarly clad followers.

The Cure are still going strong, and remain huge in America - at one point this year they had four tracks in the Billboard Hot 100. Amongst the hits produced at the three hour set were 'Pictures Of You', 'Lovesong' and 'Just Like Heaven' as well as lesser known tracks.

The Cure released new album '4:13 Dream' earlier this year, with songs from this guitar-dominated record going down a storm with the crowd. Amongst the onlookers were members of The Killers, My Chemical Romance, Paramore and AFI, as well as actors such as Kirsten Dunst and Jared Leto.
